The Length and Color You Should Consider for Your Summer Bridesmaid Dresses

Naturally, it's the bride who will be the focus of attention on her wedding day, but it's important for the bridesmaids to look gorgeous too. If you plan to have a destination wedding, such as the beach wedding, you should pay more attention to your maid of honor dresses.

The bridesmaid dresses should allow your maids of honor free to move in the sand and sea. Of course, they are not expected to take a dip but at least they should be able to walk without restraint on the soft sandy beach! Therefore, the length of the dress must be tea-length at most. Knee-length bridesmaid dress is ideal although you also have to consider the wind as you don't want your bridesmaids to be holding on to their skirts to prevent peep shows from happening. Not everybody wants to be Marilyn Monroe, after all.

As far as the color of the bridesmaid dresses, you should make sure they can highlight your  bridesmaids' elegant side and match the theme of the wedding well. You should also take their body shape and skin tone into consideration. Sometimes, you may find that white is the best choice for your bridesmaids. This is a less common option, but it is very elegant and clean. White bridesmaid dress works very well if you are having an outdoor wedding in a park or by the ocean. You can let your surroundings provide all of the colors that you need. Putting the wedding party in white creates a sophisticated beautiful look.
